Vision

VISION Exclusively previewed in Italy on the occasion of Rome's 2006 "Notte Bianca", (All-Nighter) celebrations, VISION is Kitonb Extreme Theatre Company's new show. VISION tells the tale of the synthesis of the cosmos through the experiences of the four elements, a surreal, dream-like journey that represents the quintessence of our planet. Water is sweetness, the softness of forms, the sinuousness of the shades of colour... water is femininity. Fire is strength, courage, rebellion, the male characteristic of our planet. Earth is protective, generous, wise, representing hope and abundance... earth is maternal. Air is reverie, graceful, penetrating and, at the same time, enveloping... air is dream. So different to one another and yet, inevitably, bound and joined together on a common path: synthesis and cosmogony. Cosmogony is the myth of creation that has existence born of nothing, a myth that influences the ways of mankind living in a society built around it - even if they, often, don't believe in it.
