Molasses treatment is great to combat breakage and shedding. It leaves the hair feeling very strong and nice. I love it! afrer washing hair..there were virtually NO hairs in the hair catcher. It's harmless to try! If you have light colored hair, it may darken it.

  • Hey how often do you do the molasses treatment??? or how often do you reccommend doing it??

  • @blaqueonyx like once every two weeks

  • This is very informative , girl I just ran to the groceri store a minute ago to buy my molasses. I already have all of the oils and can't waite to try this method. Would you happen to know what is the difference between the carmel treatment and your treatment? are the results the same?

  • @blissfullyme1980 lol..thanks :-)..i think the caramel treatment is meant to make straightening the hair a bit easier..and the molasses is meant to treat the hair

  • I might try this. Does it need to be black strap molasses? I have molasses but not the black strap one. Is there any difference?

  • @MrsToddSmith1 hmmmm...good question..i really don't know...sorry

  • it might be the first time i see such healthy relaxed hair. Im natural and i swore not to put any more chemicals on my hair but your hair is gorgeous... Keep up the good work sista. Oh and i assume this treatment would work like a charm for natural hair??

  • This treatment is awesome. I started having breakage and I am still not sure why! I tried the molasses treatment and it stopped my breakage instantly.

  • @MrsToddSmith1 Blackstrap molasses are more organic and less refined.
