I keep trying to figure out how I was one of the unlucky ones to get my period back at FOUR weeks (yes FOUR) postpartum, even with exclusive breastfeeding. I have haven't gone more than 56 days without a period since, (most of them 29-40 days). I'm almost looking foward to pregnancy again, just for the break lol

we started TTC when my son was 9 months old and I got pregnant immediately. That was the easy part... it has been such a long road since then. My milk dried up around 8 or 9 weeks and I had to supplement formula until 12 months. We have been dry nursing since then and I completely understand the clenching when they first latch! He is now 14 months old and I am 27 weeks pregnant... i can deal with the pain but I have been getting Braxton Hicks to the point where I have almost had to go to the

So glad to know I'm not the only mother who breastfeeds her child throughout the night! My son is two and still breastfeeding, and I want another child but wasn't even sure if I was ovulating or not. Thank you for sharing!

Great video!! Thank you! I'm looking forward to your weaning one too!

I was advised from my ob at the time to take double the prenatals because she wanted to make sure that the growing baby was getting everything it needed. But besides that it was all great!!
Is it ok in that situation for the second child to miss out on the colostrum? You mentioned that you still had milk so I was wondering if that was an issue or if it really isnt a big deal

@MsMuppet101 your body doesnt start producing "new" milk again until a few days after the new baby is born so while the toddler is esentially getting the colostrum toward the end of the pregnancy the newborn will also still get it for a few days after birth and then the colostrum will switch over to brand new milk for the baby :) id reccomend the book Adventures in Tandem Nursing for anyone who is wanting to either nurse while pregnant OR plans on or ends up tandem nursing it was wonderful :)

yeah i was pregnant with my second and nursing my son too. he was 11 months when I got pregnant and it took us 2-3 months from the start of my monthlys to conceiving. And I nursed him until I was 6 months pregnant but however sadly he stopped himself I dont know if my milk changed or what but I really wanted to tandom nurse that as my plan (goal). However my second son got milk right from birth since I really didnt dry up from my first so that was neat. But on a side note..
