    I wouldn´t say a remake. It got the names and some of the plot, but it´s a different movie altogether. Competent, but nowhere close to the original Frighnight which is sort of a 1980´s classic with Chris Sarandon playing a sophisticated and sexually ambiguous vampire. In the present version Chis Sarandon´s cameo is pathetic, and the final scenes disappointing . One more reason to watch the original. The big mistery is Collin Farrell and Tony Collete starring in such a film. Any guesses?
