A video for U of T's undergraduate newspaper, the Varsity. January 26, 2009.

Christopher Somma and Rebecca Nugent have been living on the main floor of Robarts library for 10 days. No work, no class, no parties, they're only allowed to leave their roped-off area for specifically designated times that usually involve a trip to the washroom. Their meals are delivered to them by friends (the microwave broke on day two), the flourescent lights and escalators stay on 24/7, and they rarely see daylight. All of this to raise money to build and maintain libraries in India. Students at universities across Canada have participated.

  • hey good job man keep getting the word out there, we need more ppl like u in this world... gl to the cause, peace

  • ok, no splash shot, no visual official introduction, there is no information provided to further donate to the cause, nobody cares about the two, the cause is what is important ....I guess. The reporter is not so engaging and besides the opening shot which is ok the rest is too personal. You need to be a bit more professional and include more people.... thus why I mention the budget. A bit more organization is needed.

  • wow, really uninformantive, unimaginative and not such a great video. I am not hating on your skills, I think you need more funiding and a full team of reporters and more bruhahaha in order to make this worthy cause into an event rather than posting it as a real time and making it see really dull. You are not controlling time and the video sucks really bad.
