I love Rim's vocals. Him & Herma Keil are my faves of that era.
The best is the song he sings on the train at Kuirau Park in the film. (thats under Rim D Paul & The Quin Tikis now)

These guys were awesome ! I've edited a few Quin Tikis clips from the film 'Don't Let It Get You' recently.
They're on my channel :)

Awesome to hear Rim back in the day when the musos played real instruments with no pre-recorded backing

Well who would've thought!! Quin tikis eh. My Uncle Bill Rawhiti was bass player. He had a chain saw accident and lost four fingers saving a friends life but was still about to be a mean bass player with a mean smile!!
HIS STAGE NAME WAS CALLED RIM D PAUL ALSO HE WAS BIG IN SYDNEY AUSTRALIA IN THE LATE 1960s 1970s ERA FROM THE MAORI HI FIVES.
