Heartbreaking story of a struggle to lead Your life peacefully to the utmost in times of war and stress. Were it not the times Shostakovich happened to find himself in, his music would be but just a blind, pale reflection of the masterful oeuvre he left otherwise. Great to be given a chance to see this spectacular movie, with such a little known, but equally redoubtable performance by Sir Kingsley. Thanks !
