@EscpdFrmPsykward - the tube still only holds 5. I started with 1 in the chamber, and positioned one under the closed bolt on the lifter. You can do the same thing on some Beretta semi-auto shotguns.

i have noticed most videos on you tube (about historical firearms) the individual is always shooting at a appears to be a rifle range (not a shotgun range) and only firing at a stationary target. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a shotgun? I think people should shoot clays with their historical shotguns. It would make for a better video.

@Turbine2k8 - If I still had it, I would. It started getting fussy with the type of ammo it would cycle/eject, so I sold it off.

@HGClark - the 1887's were made in both 12g and 10g. The offspring of the 1887, the model 1901, was only available in 10g.
