Im in tears watching this. This describs my last relationship perfectly. Things were SO great at the start but once he had me he switched. I couldnt talk to a guy without him saying i was cheating behind his back with them, he kept me from my friends, told me no guy would want me but him and said if i left he would kill himself and it would be all my fault. Finally it got phyical, and thats when i left. Its still hard but im getting stronger everyday. This video made me feel like i wasnt alone.

Glad to see that you are educating yourself on some serious topics. My advice is to not rush into dating too soon. Get to know yourself, reach your goals and become more secure in who you are (not saying that you're not). Guy will always be around. Hope all works out for you. God Bless!!!!!!!!

It's not the boyfriends fault for the abuse situation, it's the girls fault. Anybody can act however they want including guys, the problem is girls always choose to date them and choose to walk into their lives. For example, I see psychotic thugs and freaks in the train station but I ignore them. If I were to talk to them or say something, there's a good chance that I could be abused. Similar to boyfriend/girlfriend situations.

my ex... hit me if i showed too much skin in his eyes. , like if i wore shirts or tank tops. .. if i talked to another guy.. Looking back i feel stupid, I mean... he would tell me i was worthless so i started drinking until i forgot my name. & would tell me to kill myself.. & when i started cutting he just hit me harder. After we broke up i stopped cutting & drinking everyweekend.

if you are in a dysfunctional relationship and you can't leave, thats called co-dependence not love...you have to separate your own 'issues' from the other persons...well balanced and spiritually fit people will not put up with that kind of behaviour...
