The idea that truancy is considered a "problem" is beyond me. When you force a child to attend something they have no interest in, of course it's not going to work. It's bullshit how not going to school is actually against the law. You should be able to choose your own education.

What the fuck! School isn't so fine and dandy for fucking everyone, I'm having my own problems as of now, I don't touch drugs, I don't commit crimes or anything, but my truancy is going to get my ass in trouble, or possibly even my parents, it's not their faults, they have tried to make me go, I have real bad social anxiety, and I'm not on medicine for it.

I'm 14 years old and I have never cut before Idc if you don't believe me. So because some kids want to skip school the parents have to pay what do you want the parents to do sit in school with the kids!?

I really think if the parents were charged with child neglect and sentenced to 40 to 80 of cleaning up inner-city trash. I bet the kids would be in school and well behaved.

I think school should be a choice. School isn't the only place to learn. I hate school , not because I don't like to learn just because I hate going I also have social anxiety.

i got one of these back in december 2, 2009 i had to go to saturday school and i had to do Community service 50 hours
