VT KnowledgeWorks Global Student Business Concept Challenge 2010

The VT KnowledgeWorks Global Student Business Concept Challenge celebrates the energy and ingenuity of university students and their important contributions to the global economy. This August 29-September 4, 2010, 10-15 elite student teams from around the world will gather in Blacksburg and Roanoke, Virginia, USA to celebrate global entrepreneurship and to compete for the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Challenge Trophy. In addition to taking home the VT KnowledgeWorks Challenge Trophy, the winning team will be awarded a $25,000 cash prize! The contest finals are part of a week-long celebration of student entrepreneurship. While in Blacksburg, the teams will be housed with local families, spend interactive time with successful technology companies, enjoy fellowship with Virginia Tech students, and join the regional technology council for its annual gala dinner.
