they just rerelease this same product line winter of '09 and are saying that there are no more parabens. They've removed any products that they sell which do have parabens such as the all sensitive skin care line and are looking for alternatives for replacement.

Love your spunk and enthusiam on the makeup!!

Haha! You must work for Aveda, they taught us it was Yawa-na-wa in our most recent Seasonal Update!

Thanks for your reply. I actually work for Aveda (corporate, not salon-side) and they have been telling us that there are not parabens in any new launch in the last 3 years.
Apparently this is not the case for makeup, but seems to be true (I check) for all body/skin/hair/purefume/aircar
e/men's products. -
Brushes are made from Taklon fiber.
-
Also, Aveda has never used synthetic ingredients.

Thanks for your comments. Aveda's new collection does indeed have parabens, and you only have to read the ingredient listing to find this information.
Since I deal with corporate, they have shared that they are working on finding a suitable natural preservative, but until they do, parabens remain the safest alternative.

As I said, I was sure I didn't pronounce correctly. Thanks! The phonetic helped!

omg! It looks great on you! where did you get the brush you used for the cream shadow?

Art chick!
The brush will launch with the line mid-September from Aveda. It is totally rocking and super soft! I don't usually get too excited over brushes, but for a non-animal brush, this Kabuki is pretty kicking. And it's supposed to sell for just under $40 bucks. A must have!

Shit! Wrong brush info! Sorry... I love that damn Kabuki. Anyhoo... the other brush I used is from EcoTools. Another non-animal line of brushes. Super cheap and really sturdy. Fairly easy to clean and you should be able to Google but I've also seen them at CVS.
