I'm cypriot with greek heritage. I'm visiting my turkish cypriot FRIEND this weekend. We are both citizents of the same country. We want ONE country and ONE legal government.

Just for your info, there is not a "greek cyprus" and a "turkih cyprus"! There is only th Repulic of Cyprus - a member of EU and of the United Nations....!

there is no Greek or Turkish Cyprus... look at the map... Cyprus is an Eu member state, and should ALL be in the EU:) All Cypriots are my brothers and sisters:)

In my opinion both sides are at fault and both sides killed innocent people. Let's look towards the future, cypriots of whatever background they are lived together for a long time. We can figure it out.

Excuse me, The Persians took it, but the Greeks were there since that, and before it was a mix of Phoenician and Greek. You didn't lie, but leaving that out may work on the uneducated, but not me. Let me give you the facts, feel free to verify later. Alexander the Great took it, and after that it became Greek. It remained fully Greek until the Turks took it, all through the Roman Empire, from 27 BC-1453AD. Since then it has been more mixed, but by population majority, Greek. Just Facts!!

erm to no one?! we are two sides atm, greekcypriot side is recognized by all countries except turkey, and turkishcypriot side is recognized only by turkey. well we're trying to be together atm and having a bizone like switzerland, and no one will be called ever again turkishcypriot or greekcypriot just cypiot! =] hope i answered your querie =]
