The video was made from the "06.2DGraphics" example that came with Irrlicht v1.0 with the following changes:
- uses direct3d9. (for video capture purpose)

This isn't 2D, it's 2.5D.

2D game example using isometric view
with 2d textures awesome
what most people don't know is most 2d games
even they mostly used 2d images for these
games but using 3d modeller like blender or 3dsmax program and take a picture of a 3d model at certain angles and save the pics and
you can use them in your 2D games
you can use those 3d images
