I have decided to put my whole music collection on Youtube. I do not own the rights to any of the songs.

#52 Look In My Eyes by The Crystals

Album: The Best Of The Crystals
Year: 1992
Written By: Richard Barrett

Lyrics:
Look in my eyes
And tell me you love
Love me
Tell me you want
Want me
Or, darling, I'll be gone (gone gone gone) gone

Look in my eyes (look in my eyes)
And tell me that you're my one heartbeat
And that our love will always be
Or, darling, I'll be gone (gone gone gone) gone

(Oooh...)
You said more time
So, open your heart and mine
Now speak to me
Do you want me?
I got to have so much
Of your touch
Come and love me, please
Or, darling, set me free

Look in my eyes
And tell me you love
Love me
Tell me you want
Want me
Or, darling, I'll be gone (gone gone gone) gone

Ooooooh, ooh-ooooooh
Ooh ooh ooh
Ooooooh, ooh-ooooooh
Ooh ooh ooh

  • All nice, but I have to agree with justonemoment...The Chantels own this cut.

  • i like how the girls sings "LOOK IN MY EYES" that part was tight! But the lead singer isn't strong like on the chantels.

  • No group can match the Chantels version of this classic, not the Crystals or the Three Degrees. All were great groups, but the Chantels have their stamp on this one. Just keeping it real.

  • I like this version by the Crystals, but I am partial to the Three Degrees version. I feel that the Three Degrees (at the time they recorded this song the group consisted of Fayette Pinkney, Janet Harmon, and Helen Scott) are better vocalists.

  • @coxmillelementary It's listed as the one, but both songs are separate tracks.. Unfortunately I don't have any info on the tvocalists...but I agree, Phil had strange methods indeed

  • Good version...why this is listed as a twist on the LP is beyond me...thanks for posting
