Inadvertent Slide Deployment - Smarthandle

@BFMVpwnage5168 Actually you wouldn't be able to due to the pressure differential. Much the same reason why you can't CLOSE an open door on a low wing aircraft, the pressure difference. That's all that it comes down to.

@777fsx200 yeah you can but under 2 conditions, One, its a really fucking stupid idea, and two, you'd probably get caught before your hand even touched the handle

@ataramprat it has a sender so when you touch it it will say door armed slide will deploy

the doors are armed prior to pushback and remain armed until the aircraft returns to the gate. there is a safety swich that detects when the aircraft is airbourne, and overrides the handle, therefore, you cannot open it during flight.... this same safety system also overrides the sound - if you can't open the door, you don't need to be warned abou the door being armed.

first of all its a F/A duty to keep anyone away from the doors !!!! and if a kid or anyone for that matter would touch it in full grip yes you would hear the same message !
