In '87 Curry's did a special offer where you could trade your Senior in for money off a new vacuum. We did for a shiny new Electrolux 550 that I still own today.

I don't understand why these days we can't buy an upright here in the UK with a light on the front anymore, not that we really need it I surpose. My only guess they have done away with this is because the old bulbs didn't last long under the vibration. On the other hand this surely could be over come by putting L.E.D lights on the front instead. I'm say this 'cause I like lights!
