  • @MrYoungIndependence Oh come on now!! We managed to beat Slovenia - admittedly we were lucky it was not a draw - but lets face it - who wants to beat Brazil, Spain, Argentina or Germany when they can beat Slovenia 1 - 0!!!

  • @alanheath3 I hope I am not jumping the gun assuming we will qualify!! Please do not rub it in if we do not!!

  • @Headzone Good point. One point needed from two games, away to Russia and home to Croatia - and the wally with the brolly could not manage it. Still it is all in the past now and we have Poland / Ukraine to look forward to now (with an Italian).

  • Sven didn't do that bad he got knocked out twice on pks and a great ronaldinho free kick Capello didn't win his group and was knocked out in the round of 16

  • @stepheng1483 im sure you could have done better

  • Sven is one of the best managers in the world ..if not the best...look at what he is doing at leicester City

  • i was so sad when they fire mr. eriksson in mexico and i form mexico he the best manager in the world

  • @nasum69 lol u know nuthin about football

  • "The greatest England manager since Alf Ramsey"! wtf? Terry Venables was better than Sven, as was Bobby Robson. Sven was shit.

  • If we had kept Sven as our manager, we would have won the World Cup for sure. In the 2006 World Cup, we played three matches and won two of them; the other one was a draw. Under the leadership of Fabio Capello, we played four matches and only won one, and even that was only one nil. For as long as England was in the World Cup, I remained supportive in the face of opposition. I still maintain that things could have been a lot worse, but the fact remains that we didn't win. Capello should resign.
