  • The sight on the carbine is Hakko Panorama III. There is only one thing you need to worry about with these types of sights - is the reticle bright enough to be visible in bright sunlight? The video was shot around noon on a clear summer day and I had the brightness dialed to 7/10.

I am not sure if this type of sight is a good choice for an AR. I would say this sight is good to about 100-150 yards at most.

  • Very nice!

  • You have talent, my friend.

  • Nice shooting man

  • Mine was not the Hakko, but made by NcStar. It died on the first range day. 300 rounds into the day, the reticle was barely on the lense. The LED had been shaken loose and the reticle was projected on the far right edge of the window. I'm hoping to buy a CX4 at the local gun show tomorrow. Hopefully I'll find one, I've only seen one there once.

  • I just bought one of those optics for my AR. Had an EOtech 512 but needed money so I sold the 512 and bought the NcStar 4 reticle for $70. Apparently it works pretty good based on your video, I haven't gotten to take it to the range yet.
