Julie Bond Genovese answers questions from the audience at the Town Hall of Morris Lecture Series on 11/1/11. "Who inspires you?" "How do you deal with blame?" "How do you guide your children?" "What are the acceptable terms for 'height challenged'?" "How do we get rid of the 'garbage' in our heads?" Being human is a handicap...for everyone, but it has a higher purpose. We can use the dark times in life as a springboard to our inner spirit, by imagining that the challenges are our soul's choice for growth, compassion and love. When we decide to find something valuable even in the hardest struggle, we tap into our greatest strength which is our attitude, our higher vision, our choice. We have all been broken somewhere along the way, but what matters most is where it brings our hearts. Loving others, and ourselves, is the magic and power that can transform trauma into a triumph : )
