Do you know how to write modules? Could u explain exactly what a hook is?
tuleo554 2 years ago
I am not knowledgeable enough to write modules yet but I can give you a basic rundown. A hook is something that a developer can write into their application (in this case, a Drupal module) that allows something else to cut in and alter any part of it. For instance, if I wrote a module to alter the display of forms, I would need to do a hook_form_alter to make my changes.
Hope this was helpful,
Tom
