@gnr4evr06, Nobody cares about what happened in 1984. More people cared about Utah's 2004 team because of the fact that Utah was the first non-BCS conference team to bust the BCS.

@gnr4evr06, byu the best team in 1984? byu wasn't even tested against any opponets that finished the season ranked in 1984.........so there's no telling how good or bad they actually were that year.........I honestly think that byu wasn't good enough to be a top-five team that year......maybe #10-#15, but not a top-five. And byu would've most likely lost to Washington that year (who had a share of the national title with byu in 1984). UW also played AND beat a harder schedule than byu did.
