A 2.5-mile EF-4 (or EF-5,still under debate) tornado cuts through Birmingham. Because the funnel is so large, we don't realize we're looking at the actual tornado until about halfway through the video.

Some friends and I are going to be baking cakes for families and volunteers next weekend. @southerndawg24 I live in Vestavia, too. I remember on the radio the guy mention us in the path of it. I am so blessed that it took that last minute turn. Scary times...

i live in Vestavia Hills but am from Atlanta...originally it was said on the weather channel it was headed straight for our area but at the last minute changed direction to north of the city...Every cell phone in our area couldnt make calls or send texts but could only receive stuff...prayers are with all the people who lost their lives across the country on this day
