  • good instructional vid! if only i had this at the time i was trying to make sense of the maneuvers described in 'in pursuit'... at the time had to content with some mock-up plane models i made out of some erasers and colored head pins :P

    only one question: in some of the lag displacement rolls you did you started the maneuver when you were still inside his turn and still had lead pursuit on him. at that point in combat isn't it more profitable just to shoot the bandit ? :D

    I actually almost left out that last section because i wasn't happy with it. It's a very situational thing, and trying to artificially setup that situation where it might prove useful was turning out to be a problem. None of the examples of it in this video are really that great. Out of the 4 shown, only the second one was really the right situation for it.. all the others were forced. Though in that second one, i came back down almost too soon.

    If you combine the situation and 1st half of the lag roll from Take 2... and tack on the last half of the manuever from Take 3... you have the lag displacement roll (barrel roll attack).
