Who do Gun Laws Punish?

While I do obey my states gun laws and encourage others to do so... I do disagree with most (if not all) of them. Many Gun Laws, while well intentioned, in the end only punish law-abiding citizens, not criminals. This is and always has been a fruit of tyranny. The right to defend oneself to me is a no-brainer and a God-given right. The Founders of our Republic knew that people had the right to defend themselves criminals and tyrannical government.

And I was upset to hear about a man who was arrested for possession because he had to defend his family from a violent intruder. Just a working father who had to serve jail time for protecting his home. That was BS. So I'm with you there.

But the fact that you are responsible with your gun, and I believe that you are (I grew up hunting and did the safety classes too) doesn't mean that everybody else is responsible. I want THOSE people to be controlled and restricted. Lotta morons.

@WIYF, well again, until someone commits a crime or proves themselves unworthy, they should have the right to carry. The fact is there will always be idiots/morons and we can't punish the whole for the behavior of the few. Again, freedom involves risk and it's a chance we all take. I'd rather take my chances. I personally think all gun laws are UN-constitutional. Glad you watched! I've some some vids planned I think you'll be interested in...

Hey man. Good to see a new vid from you! I think you make some good points here, but I did want to offer my opinion on a couple of things. The bit about funerals: There is a difference. You are LIKELY to be emotionally unstable in that situation. Same reason you should wear a helmet on a motorcycle. You could get a head injury anywhere. But you're more likely to have one if you crash your bike. That's the idea. But I'm guessing you dislike helmet laws too. :o)
