  • Yo I have to learn how to do this ish... I need to make some tracks like Nightriders.. what mpc could i start with?

  • @SeeSickNYC Honestly, if your looking to go the mpc route, then I would choose the 1000 for being a beginner. But that's only if you want to go with straight hardware production. If your more into software as your work flow, I would choose a midi controller with an mpc-feel to it, like the mpd or even maschine and use it with what programs you use to produce. That's what I suggest, otherwise read some forums online, watch videos and ask questions, can't go wrong with that haha. Thanks.

  • DOPE... reminds me of The BucketHeads joint (Kenny Dope) . . this is HEAT

  • @KnockSquared Yeah thanks, probably got inspired by it..don't remember haha but that Bucketheads track is classic tuuune!

  • hey mxo1210, i think i can help you...im not sure if this works on the original OS, but works in JJOS for the mpc 1000...in Trim Mode select your sample then press Chop, it should bring you to a window that has your sample sliced into 1/16 or w/e...press enter, then edit, and another window appears...press Convert to sliced samples...and it automatically slices your samples and assigns them to your pads

  • thanks man
