A message written and recorded within 12 hours of the opening of a university rejection letter. Well..

Goodbye city life,
Goodbye opportunity,
You won't even take a bribe,
When retards get in free, alright!

Well I'm just bitter cus I didn't get a place
Put all of my hope in you I fell flat on my face

Power happy, trigger lovin', dead-end faculty,
You are so damn old, I bet you can't even see

A new generation dismissed with just a glance,
You should go retire, yeh, fuck off to France.

We churn out qualification, we offer a real foundation,
To get you where you wanna go, tick a box its all for show

Experience no you're a faker,
Look at you and your piece of paper,
It'll take you to the top alright,
I hope you don't last the night

Well I'm just bitter cus I didn't get a place
Put all of my hope in you I fell flat on my face

Not one bit of explanation,
Is it my innovation,
Am I not good enough?
Come on you can tell me I'm tough

Maybe it's you who overlooked, it's you for godsakes,
If you can't see me from them, you not got what it takes!

Well anyway I guess I won't see you in class,
And unlike those lucky ones won't be there to lick your ass.

I left my hopes and dreams in Manchester.
I don't feel like painting anymore.
All of my colours have turned black and white.

  • You can feel the contempt displayed in this song very easily. The melody complements it and the singing style and lyrics are reminiscent of the messages that John Lennon put forward during the hippy movement. I have noticed in this country that Art students are the most bitter, which is why so many of these virals are cropping up. I could argue all day with counter arguments to the issues this artist has displayed. It's evocative.
