@skedtm Are you for real , you engage and suppress the enermy position whilst they wait for the fire mission from artillary. Despite this, they are engaging them at range , you try going CQB in an open field !

@skedtm It's called Suppressing fire, a typical move by most military's across the world. Put yourself on the receiving end, would you wana poke your head up over your cover to squeeze off a few rounds, while about 500 rounds per minute are heading your direction? It is a waste of ammo, but its better to be safe than sorry.
