  • @bigal7429 non si sà più a chi dare retta.un giorno dicono che non và e poi il giorno dopo lo comprano.

  • @IZ1LBN perchè manco li cani? io ho un 570d e in caso di cambio volevo prendere questo, è un bidone?

  • Manco li Cani !!

  • @craig3008 oh I know what they are and what they do etc. Just don't think they are either a deal-clincher or a deal-breaker. Nice radio but I hope there' a big brother to it following in the next year or two. That would be nice!

  • @quacker1964 I find a bandscope to be very handy on HF. If someone starts putting out a CQ call etc.. I can SEE their signal and go straight to it and chat to them before most other people find them and there is a pile up. Even a simple bandscope like that on the Icom 706MKIIG is a good feature and something that Kenwood really should have put on a radio like this. I'm still considering this radio however. • @quacker1964 easier to pounce on signals

  • Bandscopes are an excellent feature to have, and used extensively on some bands like 10 or 6 meters. One can spot e-skip openings and see where the stations are visually. Once you go bandscope, there is no turning back for many!

  • @AudiophileTubes

Someone please explain to me why one needs a bandscope?

  • On another post I said that I'd buy a Kenwood over an iCOM. The more I read about Kenwood, the more I want it. I've got a Yaesu now, but this 590 is just what I'm looking for....unless the price drops way down on the TS-2000...either way, it's Kenwood for me.

And all you iCOM kool-aid drinkers can spend THOUSANDS more for the bandscope!

  • KENMORE is stil building HF radios? What's up with that UGLY GREEN display? NO bandscope then it's NOT for me."ICOMS RULE"
