@Taylor17fyi Before Sam came to town, she was running cons. She needed money to take care of her and her brother after their parents abandoned them. She was pretending to be someone else, and she would marry men, take their money, and then divorce them. One of the men found out about what she was doing and he beat her up once. She ended up shooting and killing him before he could murder her.

He didn't deserve it but she is lashing out at the person she feels is responsible and I think she is projecting out the pain she feels from her own abuse too. I look forward to her apologizing sincerely to him.
