Derek is a hero to be worshipped, not to be mocked. Myth has it that he is a World War II veteran whose group was hit by mortar bombs. He witnessed friends around him die, and he survived with shell shock. When he returned home, he discovered that the government had taken over his chicken farm, and his business was gone. Well, that's the myth, anyway. If that'd happened to me, I'd be in a lot worse state than Derek. He's a really nice man.

Cheltenhams most outspoken political commentator - "Get Tony Blair out, don't vote labour, IK IK IK " he should be on Newsnight. He also slashed all over the floor in the shop i used to work at, you don't see Paxman doing that.
