when someone attempts a takedown or is perceived to be attempting a takedown and the competitor pulls guard, points are usually awarded the attacker credit for the takedown. Abu Dhabi rules award points are awarded even if there is no takedown atempted. Either way in this situation points are generally awarded. Nick has a good guard. Hey thanx Hardcore for putting this up! My friend told me about it. I don't think he won though. I give full props to Nick though! He's a great athelete and a good guy and his BJJ is very good. And since he is BJJ belted and I'm not, even Nick said "your strong as hell and did good for someone with no BJJ!" I'd love to get out there with him again and I'm sure I will! Thanks again!!

If its 1pt for a sweep it's a draw. Nobody got a takedown. Nick jumped guard which isn't a takedown. -- Blindwonder, if you don't see why he won you're a blind nigger. teehee.

yeah the fight was too short. Python couldn't pass Nick's guard for shit. As soon as he did Nick reclaimed guard. He went for 0 subs. Nick went for 3 subs. Nick got the sweep. Going by rules for grappling it looked like Nick won. Python passed guard twice for 2 points. Nick reclaimed guard once for 1pt, and swept for 2. That's how it's judged in most grappling tourneys.
