You are correct, Sir or Ma'am. As a music educator, it's important to provide a well-rounded education of both sacred and secular music to students because each is important in educational and historical terms to the growth of any musician. It's like learning about World Religions in Cultures class or History class. It's like learning about sacred art in Art History. you can;t ignore it's importance to the whole of the art. Period!

@TakerFan55 not at all... Exodus is a departure involving a big group.. hence the term "Mass Exodus" and the Avon kids running off the field..

The 2nd mvmt. might just be my favorite ballad ever. I really like how they added the singer in there, and the guard is awesome.

The ending is awesome! One of my favorite endings in a band show. I also love the chord right around 8:31.

This was good, but the vocalist at 3:52 was kinda a diversion. This is supposed to focus on the band. If I were a judge, I would have counted a point or two off for that.

No, I said "get the pistols". If you look at the girls coming onto the field they have their hands in the shape of a pistol aiming it around. My daughter wanted us to get it on vedio.

Somebody please show me where in the constitution it says you can't have a marching band program that has a somewhat religious theme to it. Everyone seems to forget we have a freedom of religion not a freedom from religion. Would anybody be having this discussion if this was about witches and demons?
