Saving Private Joe

Joe Collins has cancer. The disease has eaten away at the former US Marine so much that he barely weighs 80 pounds. Despite his woes, Joe is still a giver. He loves to help others. But when his home burned down leaving him with nothing but charred remains of memories, it was time for others to help him. This documentary shows how complete strangers expressed their compassion for Joe in an amazing way.

I have had the honor of being Joe's best friend since kindergarten. We both joined the service within months of each other. He was just a hop over the fence to Marine boot camp. To see him in this video its hard to imagine him as the tip top Marine, always at the top of his class. He is very proud and honorable Marine with a giving heart, as I say to everyone he is the best man I know.

I am so happy for Joe too, Glad there are people who are still giving as I am who helps when able...when the heart moves them to...Praise the Lord for moving us all into action to help each other when we need it most.
