  • My referance to money was related to the obvious poverty of our street youth. In a battle for the minds of these children framing the issue in terms of cost benefit analysis will resonate (sadly) more than right and wrong. Still, we need both, it is not an either or debate. Getting their attention is task.

  • @vsmokethon HUH?

  • @haywood16 i feel what your saying but its kind of racist's. some one getting shot in any race is stupid on any day..

  • Meditation XVII by John Donne ... any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind ...

  • Everytime I hear, see or witness events like this it saddens me. Everytime I say to hell with it and try to act as though it doesn't matter I always come back to a major concern alongside disgust in my people. I honestly don't know and exact solution. I trully beleive that there is no hope unfortunately. BUT if there is a chance in hell of any hope it MUST be done through the youth. But how can you plant seeds of hope when the soil is damaged the nutrients are unhealthy and the water is poisoned.

  • You blame the cops instead of the criminals who can't ever get together for a party without violence...ever! Amazing you never see this at the St Patricks day parade!

  • @AllThingsHarlem how is someone a creep when they are saying how wonderful it is that a man can come from where he has and become a great man that wants to help Harlem and its violence...it proves people change and deserve second chances...don't call me a creep...you don't know me or my views or what I have done for the youth....

  • @mcalis1980 It is obvious that you are not concerned about youth violence but have a need to talk about "Jazz", personal no doubt. Well, for all that are concerned one need only to google him and see his whole life instead of the snippets that creeps like you insist on publicizing. Get a life!

  • Jesus is the solution to this problem.

  • Thanks for sharing that with us, I am sure that Jazz appreciates your observation, even though this piece is about youth violence in Harlem.

  • so you are a reporter emmm??? i used to help out at the red cross .but despite the fact that dont like any news channel there is a big advantage in people doing what u do
