Oh, that's good.

I know. Im not the only 1 that use my kit also. We both find it great and light on ressource. Also no annoying lol.

BigGeekDaddy - I would not advocate using any single program for computer security, a layered approach works far better, Running MSE with a separate AV is essential and no conflicts. MS have for once actually come up with something that is worth having and compared to similar apps it is a bit further ahead but without the eye candy that others use :-)
-
Agent349 - It can detect rootkits that are either already on the system or being downloaded. Avast and MS worked together to ensure compatibilty with AV running alongside MSE, I have both running and have done since MSE was in beta, no problems and they complement each other :-)
-
Agent349 - There's a download link on my site which is available to all Windows users :-)
Will this and avast! work together fine? If so, I'll get around to installing this, eh?

Hizan546 - Yes it will - the MS team have been working alongside the Avast team to ensure that they are compatible :-)

I love more my kit without MSE.

Agent349 - It's all about users making informed choices and what they are comfortable using :-)

I use this product with Sandboxie and PC Tools firewall. It's basically all you need :) Also MBAM and SAS as On-Demand just in case.

kingorgg - Keep MBAM and SAS, they add to a layered approach, also use a realtime AntiVirus. I use Sandboxie and to date nothing has escaped from the box, but I also recover various malware samples to another drive, so it is interesting to see which apps pick it up and which don't :-)
