  • That is a runaway.

  • @TheDavidpayne if you put it in high gear and let the clutch out, you will mechanically stall the motor..

sure it hammers the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel, but they are cheaper than the damage caused by a runaway explosion.

That smoke looks like a runaway to me, not oil burning off.

  • @AceofSpadesau And what will that do ? the turbo blow's air into the engine (boost engine) when the turbo blow's oil is allowed to pass into the intake system . the smoke is the oil burning off , best thing u can do is shut the engine off as soon as she blow's but most driver's dont know a turbo to a lug nut

  • @DGAF51 put it in high gear and let the clutch out...

  • Damn better board up the intake you'll need more than a turbo! Ive got an 6v92 does it all the time but I dont sit in the truck and call AAA either damn student drivers!

  • This is a runaway diesel, people! Why else would it be sitting on the side of the road, running like it is, belching unending volumes of smoke while fogging out local traffic, running the risk of an automotive pileup? If you could shut it down, you would. But if you can't, this shows what happens. If it was any other mechanical fault, would YOU leave it running?

  • run away... and some of you ppl are dumb... if its running away you cant shut it off.... like dankcorey said you have to plug the intake

  • no thats a headgasket

  • @midnightridersrepu you're stupid. black smoke in any engine is from an excess of unburnt fuel. blue smoke could be a really cold diesel. or oil depends on if its a MACK or not! LMFAO jk i just dont like MACK too much. coolant burns white. yes you had that right but that is more grey than white.

  • @catmand5h na turbo. pure unburnt diesel fuel is white and the turdo and there to fill in the 50/50 spot so it a 100% fuel and it cant burn tht much at once
