  • Hi triciamcb, Thanks for your kind comments. For snow I used Polar Fleece, a material normally used for kids' pajamas and soft toys. The lumps and bumps are made by putting pieces of polystyrene foam around randomly or adding plastic snow.

  • wow.. this is totally aaawwwwsuuummm.. the best christmas layout ever.. just about umpossible to top!

  • I never fail to drop by Christmas Dreams when I am in the area - This display is so much more alive in person because of all the sound and motion spread strategically around the whole display, which is not captured in the slide show format you favour! Last time I went in, there were a bunch of Garden Railroaders stocking up on Lemax figurines - drat! I thought I was the only one who had cottoned on to this little secret.

Thanks for sharing anyway - next time try the video format!

  • Beautiful - what else can I say! Your trademark of using lovely musical accompaniment for your village displays gives a whole new dimension to watching Youtube, a fantastically inspirational experience! When I start posting, I will follow your example.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Derrick! You have brought Christmas early to our homes! The very word brings joy to our hearts. No matter how we may dread the rush, the long Christmas lists for gifts and cards to be bought and given - -when Christmas Day comes there is still the same warm feeling we had as children, the same warmth that enfolds our hearts and our homes- Satish Gopi

  • Good job Derrick! Fantastic attention to detail, almost feel like a kid again :-)
