Flattr - This is Flattr

This is amazingly great idea. It's just poorly advertised. If this would be merged with say, a facebook "like" button, this would solve a huge amount of piracy problems. No problems for me tipping people when there seems to be a max so I don't accidently spend too much. And in my country there's no tipping culture at all.

The flattr button has been visible on a gaming site for over 2 months and only 5 people has pushed it.

Here on YT the most creative video makers get money for the amount of subscribers/creations from YT. I think they also get money for having commercials on their vids? Then if i like it i simply click the like button to show my appreciations. Which for me is a better way of showing my appreciations, since i am a very poor woman who hasn`t got a lot of money to "play" around with. Or else i would happily spend some dimes on products i think are well made.

Don`t mean to sound totally negative, i am speaking for those who might not have much money to spare and only use it for what is necessary. Its not fair to give poorer people a bad conscience because they can`t show their appreciation by paying money for it. Sometimes i feel as if the creator should have some money.

I guess this idea works better for people who are used to the "tipping" culture.

i am skeptic about this idea because poor people will not pay, so its divided.
I am thinking that if you want to earn money you have to sell something. Its a little like giving money to all the street performers in the streets. In the end no money left!. What i do think works is an entrance fee to the most popular sites.

Could it be Pizza?
I think where the story ends is when it comes to the small fee.

This video is so patronizing because of the lame cake metaphor.

Fat kids will use Flattr alot...
Now getting anything in return? People do tip waiters don't they? All they do is bring you your food, that you've paid for anyway. Creators on the internet give you a lot more in my experience. And it's definitely a voluntarily thing to "flattr" them...
