More like, there were an inconclusive amounts of transitional offisls when Darwin wrote on the Origin of Species, when Paleontology was in it's infancy. Nevermind the fact that we can perfectly trace our anatomical, physiological, and microbiological trees of life. No. A theory is a logical and testable model that explains all the currently and best available evidence attributed to a phenomena.

Nevertheless, you're discussing semantics. I fail to see how the fact you don't know what the word theory means has to do with the validity of evolution; the validity of 200,000 peer reviewed papers that support it, the lack of any papers that contradict it, the entire fossil record, every genome, vestigial structures, geology, astronomy, biology. Need I say more?

Actually, Gravity as a theory is in no way comarable to Evolution as a theory. There are degrees of theory. And levels of evidence for theories.

Never can you say sine one is a theory and another is a theory they are equal.
