If India was a curruption free ,not just Mumbai , India would have been an economic superpower today.The problem in India is the wealth is in hand of few and the majority of Indians are poor and working class.India is a democracy for the last sixty years or so,free courts,free press,good legal system and women are allowed to work and study in colege and universities unlike Red China and Pakistan.Where would you live?

Many cities in India are making rapid progress like Banglore,Surat,Gourgan,Noida,P­une but Mumbai is India's financial and only mega city.Like London is to UK ,New York is to USA,Tokyo is to Japan.Mumbai is too overcrowded with 18 million people i think it has reached it's optimum.

The avarage richest people live in Northern India and Southern India. In south, an average film budget is more than average Bollywood film budget.

Even temples in Southern India have tones of gold.

Mumbai ranks seventh in family income above Rs.10000. in India

It is not the best, but is a good city compared to Indian Standards.

But since last 15 yrs Mumbai charm has gone down due to 2 reasons...

1) Growth of cities like Bangalore

2) Huge population and bad roads, weather, blasts.

Mumbai is the best city in South Asia,Bollywood,Film Stars Rich and famous lives here,India's financial capital,India is the tenth largest economy in the world and will become economic superpower by 2025.

Pakistan is an Islamic State ,47 largest economy in the world ,behind countries like Singapore,Israel,Philippines, UAE,Hong Kong,Malaysia,Egypt etc etc What good is Karachi and Pakistan?

IN MUMBAI, YOU HAVE TO ASSUME THAT YOU ARE RICH AND HAPPY. OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE VERY FRUSTRATED. HERE EVEN THE PAANWALA IS MAKING LOTS OF MONEY MORE THAN A COMPANY'S GENERAL MANAGER.

I STAYED IN MUMBAI FOR OVER 30 YEARS.

THIS CITY IS ACTUALLY BUILT ON DUBAI BLACK MONEY AND AMERICAN GUJRATHI NRI'S MONEY.

THE LOCAL PEOPLE HERE ARE EVEN MORE POOR THAN OTHER CITIES IN INDIA. IN MUMBAI THE MIDDLE CLASS IS STILL STAYING IN MATCHBOX SIZED ROOMS. THIS CITY IS HEAVEN FOR THE RICH BUT A HELL FOR THE POOR.

IF YOU STAY IN MUMBAI, YOU HAVE A HEART OF A LION TO SURVIVE THE HARDSHIPS. ITS A DREAM CITY FAVOURING THE BUSINESS MINDED. FOR SERVICE PEOPLE, ITS AN AVERAGE CITY LIKE DELHI.
