I Wanna Be Loved By You

A song first sung and popularized by Helen Kane in Oscar Hammerstein's 1928 show Good Boy, and later associated with "Betty Boop'", who was modeled upon Helen Kane in her appearance and singing style.

Where I live, this song was used back in the 70's in a 'Gondola Pizza' commercial, where a pizza was placed on the gramaphone & played this song.

(Thought I'd take a break from the hard-core classical stuff for a bit.)

(I was tempted to title this "I Wanna be Love by YouTube.... but I resisted.)

I like to joke sometimes that I don't play anything unless it's at least 20 years old. ;-) There's a lot of popular music from early last century that I like. :-)
