@TehFEMan Vette's only have exterior cheap build. The mechanical engineering is world class and has been claimed by popular mechanics to be the best engineered car on the road several times over the pasted 13yrs since the advent of the C5. There has to be some sacrifices in this car to keep it at a base price of 48,000 for a 1LT grand sport. Same said for the Z06 and ZR1. Other words, poor mans super car, if there even is such a thing.

Somebody needs to teach the driver of the GS how to drive, those times are ridiculous. The GS pulls over 1g on the skid pad, hits 60 in 3.8, slalom speed is in excess of 72mph. WTF is wrong with these powderpuffs??

and i have owned both of these cars and porsche seats are hard as a rock its like sittn on stone but that okay because the guys who normally drive them weight 125lbs so that explains that and no corvettes interior in no cheaper than the porsche's.

All of this is BS...like the car you like, I won't hate...the Corvettes usually are the best performing cars in these tests, but usually lose (seats, interior, yada, yada.) Car and Driver should be Car and Hamptons. Do you want a status symbol or a car that performs. Car and Driver is telling you to go for the status symbol...I'll suggest that you buy a Corvette if you want to have the fastest thing on the road for the money...if not you will look great in the Porsche.

Vette wins... hands down.. and its even cheaper that the other two.... lane change the porshe gets it but those run flats on stock Vettes are garbage IMHO>
