The preceding video tells how to take those measurements. Watching that video makes this step much easier. You must also understand, that not all sewing projects are easy and it will take practice and knowledge to accomplish some things. This video was fine

I actually found this rather useful. And no, I didn't go to design school.

I thought "how to" videos where suppose to help anyone. Not people who went to design college. Most of the "how to" videos on youtube work well for teaching people who know nothing about this kind of thing. :( Disappointed.
