Minecraft 1.9 - Enderdagon Spawners

Yep, they work. No silly gold sword required

Because someone will ask: The map is a kind of MCEdit Test World I have just for playing around. It's not available for download.

A few notes:
-The Health Bar appeared before the dragon itself did- it might be linked to the doll in the spawner.
-The Space Fountain Thing dropped me into the End like normal.
-She basically just flew wherever she wanted, and I think she can still phase through Obsidian and Bedrock, so dropping her into the overworld is probably a bad idea.
-I didn't record it, but additional testing shows it doesn't seem to work as reliably in the Nether. Might have something to do with the ambient light.
-I'm not seeing any of this 'debug block' nonsense everyone's talking about, though she definitely doesn't seem to be attacking me.
