my rat is making the same strange sounds but my vet doesn't know how to help her either =/ what did you find out? could you please tell me if you found a cure ond what it was? i'm desperate...

@CatMaster87932 You may be right- its been some yrs since I had first hand experience. But wouldn't hurt to go to vet to be safe.

Myco is usually what causes any weird noises with sneezing and excess discharge around the nose and eyes. But noises are pretty bad, i would get him or her into the vet very soon to get some antibiotics.
(On a side note, you might want to try getting some baby food to mix antibiotics with. Rats don't like the taste of medicine :P)
