1) Faith alone without works = dead faith, NO SALVATION

2) Works alone without faith in the Lord Jesus Christ = dead works, NO SALVATION

3) Faith in Jesus Christ = TRUE BIBLICAL SALVATION + good fruits (works)!

Apostle Paul: "I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus." (Acts 20:21)

  • WHEN JESUS DIED THINGS CHANGED= NEW TESTAMENT

  • TRUE FAITH IS ACCOMPANIED BY WORKS. TRUE FAITH= REPENTANCE

REPENTANCE= ALLOWING GOD TO GUIDE YOUR LIFE= SALVATION NOT ONLY AFTER DEATH BUT A FULL LIFE HERE ON EARTH. GOD=LOVE

  • Can I send you a message and you reply like how you did here?

  • Hey bro. I totally agree with you on repentance, good video. I noticed when you read Acts 2:38 you skipped over the part about being baptized in Jesus name, which is very common. Did Jesus give Peter the keys to the kingdom? Was he opening the door that day ?

  • @OrthElCid Legalistic? Again Paul preached that we are under the law of Christ (1 Cor. 9:27). Have ye not read?

  • @OrthElCid I am not defending "my church traditions". I am defending the faith once delivered to the saints. Jesus said the tribulation would occur in that generation, before it passed away. Do you believe Jesus? Or do you sniff and say, "That's Old Testament!" If Jesus preached under the Old Covenant, then why did He say, "A new commandment I give you" (John 13:34)? Why in Matthew 19 did He give a marriage law that went beyond the Old Law?

  • @OrthElCid Brother, I am being quite steady with the correct interpretation of the Word. That is not the rapture, brother. Daniel's 70 weeks and the tribulation have already been fulfilled, for Jesus said that would be fulfilled in that generation (Mt. 24:34) and all OT prophecies have been fulfilled, because Jesus came to fulfill the Prophets.

Going in circles? Because you won't listen to Jesus. You are misapplying Scripture. The HS? God does not speak today apart from the Bible.

  • @clearedtoengage Your right it is quite a side point. I am not criticising your overall knowledge but I am frustrated with how you bounce all over the place with the Word. We all are growing in God's grace and we are instructed to study to show ourselves approved and ready to give an answer for the hope that we have in Jesus. I have been a believer for years and used to be a holiness preacher but I am new and growing in my foundation of Jesus' finished work and the depth of what that means.
