@edlikestoboogie So you called them and they smashed a guitar and developed a coke problem and you tried to sue them? For shame. Sounds a little one-sided. Did you try replacing the power supply?

I just want to warn everybody reading this. That I purchased a MakerBot in Sept. 2010, and I built it, it worked for one print, then failed. i called MakerBot in Brooklyn and they basicly act like rockstars thinking they are too good to support their little customers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Also if you already bought a MakerBot, threaten to sue Bre Pettis and MakerBot, and Bre will refund your money in full, and you can keep the MakerBot, for a free machine. Thats what I did. and I recommend it.

@neojerrod No, these guys make the makerbot. They don't make/design products. They are giving away the makerbot to someone so they can make their own product. How this "works" for them is advertising and awareness of their product - so that's their benefit - not to steal/take someone's idea and make their own products of it. They aren't in the business of designing products to make. I can't believe you have 30 thumbs up for such a ridiculous comment.
