This match and with Goldberg was two best matches with DDP. DDP had tremendous respect for Sting. He's even said that Sting was the only major star who actually believed in him long before anyone else did. Flair hated him.

Just watched this on the Best of Nitro DVD. Glad they added it. Absolutely fantastic match. Great ending.

i miss these days, remember watching Nitro every week for years, quit watching WWF in September 97 and didn't watch again until i was forced to due to WCW and ECW no longer being around
have to admit, after seeing the matches and moments i missed during those years that happened on WWF shows, im glad i never watched it cause WWF looked really boring while WCW had so many memorable moments i still rmeember fondly
