Cole Porter wrote the music and lyrics for "Can Can", a 1953 musical based on a book by Abe Burrows which focused on the lives of the showgirls who worked at the Montmarte dance halls. From this musical came a few great tunes like "I Love Paris" and this song, "C'est Magnifique", sung "magnifique" here by Dean Martin.
